We know that bookstores, publishers and old media are in trouble.
But not authors. There are more outlets begging for content than ever before. If you know a subject well enough to create a book, you are going to do just fine.. if you cater to the exploding global audience.

You are right. I don't even think we really have the capability to track or
count that but I know you're dead on with that.
When I heard that there were 3 trillion SMS messages, I got thinking how we couldn't track them.. and how they are a fraction of the phone calls or face to face word of mouth conversations happening.
